UNITED: Nico players

UNITED BOUYANT AHEAD OF ROLLERS CLASH
Township Rollers’ defence will have a tough time on Saturday when they face on form Nico United.  Their main challenge would be how to contain the free scoring Master Masitara. Masitara has scored in every game he has played in thus far. He has a total of nine goals from six matches. Baby Jombies as Nico is known to its passionate fans is currently sitting in an unfamiliar yet comfortable position 2 on the Be Mobile premier league log.
They will be facing Rollers after their 3-1 thrashing of Tafic in Phikwe last week Sunday. The BCL sponsored team seem to have found their rhythm as they now play carpet football and pass the ball well.

However Majombolo must be wary of the Blues who thrashed their hoodoo team Mogoditshane Fighters ‘half a dozen’ to nothing last weekend.  Last season Rollers scored 5 goals against Nico and having found their scoring boots, they can repeat last season’s massacre.
Sekhana Koko, Mogakolodi Ngele and Onalethata Tshekiso will be a thorn in Monametsi ‘Sunday’ Kelebale’s led defence.  Since the beginning of the season, Kelebale has been a true revelation to Nico’s central defence.
Nico united coach Elijah Chikwanda said that he will approach the game like any other.
‘’My players are motivated and I expect them to do well against Rollers.  I’m not worried about the six goals they scored last weekend. We take every game as it comes,’’ he said. Nico united supporters are optimistic their side will hammer Rollers,

‘’We have assembled a good side and I believe Rollers will be no match for us.  Not only are we winning but we play entertaining football,’’ said Kelebogile Maje.
28 year old Kelebogile believes that his team can overturn last season’s results as the return of Masitara has boosted the team.
Boelo Rakwadi one of Nico United’s long time supporter beams with smiles and feels Rollers is not a threat.
‘’This is our season and with Masitara and Bernard Simakwenzi on form no team will stop us.  Our defence is solid and will contain Rollers’ strikers,’’ he said.
The question that most soccer pundits ask is will Nico maintain the current form or are they faltering to deceive like they have been doing for many seasons?

Meanwhile Rollers mentor Wesley Mondo said winning this game will make a big difference in their league position. He said he anticipated a tough Nico on Saturday, but added that and he did thorough preparations for the match.
“We are the defending champions so it is upon us to double our effort for the full 90 minute. We should forget about the history between us, rather work hard, focus and get maximum points. We have a game plan, and I expect the players to follow my instructions.
