A case between Township Rollers player Ofentse Nato and Mochudi Centre Chiefs will be heard this evening at Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC).
Magosi lodged a complaint before Botswana Premiership Disciplinary Committee questioning the decision by Township Rollers to use the player in their last Mascom Top 8 semi-final fixture in Francistown.
The Kgatleng giants claim their bitter rivals, Rollers, defaulted by fielding Nato who joined the team recently from Indian side, Atletico de Kolkata.
Though Popa are adamant they followed all proper channels in securing the services of Nato, Coach Mark Harrison did not use him when they trounced FC Satmos 5-0 in a beMobile Premiership game over the weekend.
He said he was being cautious about using the player until the case is over. “It would not be fair to put him and the club under more pressure, so we wanted the matter to be cleared up first. I am confident that Chiefs will lose this case because we followed the necessary procedure in registering Nato,” said Harrison.
