Botswana Confederation of Commerce Industry and Manpower will hold its 8th annual business golf day this Friday at Gaborone golf club under the theme ‘maintaining existing friendship: building new relationships.’
This event is one of the premier events on the BOCCIM calendar.
It is meant to bring together businesses both small and large to network and market their products while enjoying the game of golf.
BOCCIM Head of Public Affairs, Marketing and Communications Shiellah Moribame told Voice Money that companies from all sectors of the economy will participate.
She said this year there will be some participating companies from neighbouring countries.
“At the end of the tournament, there will be a gala dinner for participating companies at Gaborone Sun hotel at 18:30hrs.
Barclays Bank of Botswana Managing Director, Ms. Reinette van der Merwe will officiate at the prize giving dinner.
This event provides businesses an opportunity to meet with their current and potential customers, suppliers and financiers as well as encouraging fair business practices when businesses meet to forge a meaningful partnership.” Said Moribame.
She said having businesses from other countries will help local companies to benchmark and see how best they can improve their services and products.
Moribame said there will also be an opportunity for locals to find connections of exporting their products hence boosting the economy of Botswana.
Holes are being sold for P6500 sole par and P12 000 for birdie premier.
