A 27-year- old man from Boro village in the North West district who reported his girlfriend missing appeared before Maun Principal Magistrate Clifford Foroma after investigations pointed to him as the main murder suspect.

Seboko Taswinya is said to have went with his girlfriend, Ogotseng Kagiso,30 on a drinking spree on March 28 but reported her as a missing person on the 30th at Maun Police station.

Maun Station Commander Kenanao Badumetse told The Voice that they became suspicious after the accused reported his girlfriend missing yet he was the last person to be seen with her.

He said  that during investigations the accused person led the investigating team to a bush behind Okavango International School where the deceased was found with stab wounds on neck and below armpit.
