Tati East legislator, Samson Guma Moyo, says he is not worried by his party’s decision to expel him from the party.
The Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) this morning decided to expel Moyo from the party.
Speaking to The Voice Online, Moyo who confirmed he is still in South Africa said he will not contest the party’s decision.
“I am fine with their decision. I won’t contest their decision,” was his short answer.
Asked if he will continue to contest for the coming General Election, Moyo said “I haven’t decided yet.”
Moyo is part of the 30 BDP members who were recently slapped with disciplinary hearing letters after the Serowe branch chairman wrote a complaint letter to the party’s disciplinary committees.
The branch was complaining about their meeting held at Lady Khama centre on the 24th February 2019 saying it was unconstitutional.
Another prominent figure, Prince Maele, also received his one year suspension letter from the party this morning.
