Popular fashion event, Fashion Without Borders (FWB), was once again back in town much to the delight of fashion enthusiasts who attended this year’s episode in large numbers.
This time around the fashion extravaganza showcased for three days, so for those that have a passion for clothes, art and everything African network, this was the place to be!
Covering the Museum show, we expected a standstill set-up were the models statue as mannequins showcasing designer items.
The expectation was preceded and the set up was similar to the vision anticipated, with more interaction between the models and audience.
Models would parade center stage and strut their way around the museum hall to their designated stations, were the audience got to scrutinize each outfit to the last detail before they set off again.
Designers included; Tlatlana Designs (Botswana) Boea (Botswana) Que (Zimbabwe)Inexis Designs (Zimbabwe) and Giga Gruru (RSA) and others.
It is without borders because all of these designers come from all corners of Africa, and are bonded by their creativity.
They created show-stopping pieces that lived up to the theme PROUDLY AFRICAN.
