A Police operation in Gaborone this week roundedĀ four women and two men found in possession of substances suspected to be dagga and cocaine.

According to police Public Relations Officer, Christopher Mbulawa, the suspects were arrested in four separate incidents in and around Gaborone during police operations.

In one of the cases, a 35 year-old woman and a 27 year-old man- both from Old-Naledi, were found in possession of 26 sachets containing the substance.

The dagga was in a school bag belonging to a primary school student.

Two other women were found with 50 aluminum foil wrappings and ten sachets containing dagga.

Two other young women aged 23 and 28 were nabbed in Taung and Ledumang locations respectively in possession of a substance suspected to be cocaine.
