In a star studded line up, the second annual Kanye Easter Experience bash was held yesterday at its traditional host place Motse Lodge.
The event starred powerful performances from South African stars as well as the local artist, but it was local performer Casper the Dj who stole the show.
By 8pm music lovers from the Ngwaketse land had already started filling up the venue whilst performances on stage rotated one by one starting with the deejays.
South African Zakes Bantwini who was the main headline act rocked on stage just after midnight.
Clad in an all blue number the “clap your hands” singer belted out some of his old hits occasionally throwing his famous dance moves midway through his set.
Next up was local motswakolista, Mosako going by the stage name MSK.
MSK’s decade old songs were the favourite as patrons notably sang along to tracks such as Onketsang.
Before South African vocalist, Zanda Zakuse, could wow the crowd with her electric performance with her hit feature with Master KG , “Skeleton Move”, it was local pint sized deejay, Casper the Dj who had the crowd eating out of the palm of his hand.
Casper the Dj had a warm reception from the crowd who called for the youthful deejay to repeat his set.
Other performances were by Dj Gouveiya, Rittah , Cody, as well as T’do Soulfreak just go mention a few.
Whilst the event is only on it’s second installment it has proven to be the go to session in the Southern Region around the Easter holidays.
