The fourth annual Botswana Youth Awards have been scheduled for April 27, Voice Entertainment can confirm.
The youthful awards – which are the brainchild of Rremmogo Group Foundation founder Kagiso Morebodi – will once again be hosted at their traditional host place, Gaborone International Convection Centre (GICC).
This time around the awards will be held under the theme: ‘Elevate Your Story and Reach for Impact.’
According to Organisers, the event’s main objective is to recognize and reward achievement of young people who have contributed to the welfare and development of other youth.
The awards recognize talents from different fields, including sport, business, Innovation and ICT.
This was confirmed by the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Culture Development spokesperson, Thobo Tlhasana who revealed registration for nominations has already begun and is expected to close mid March.
“Registration for your preferred candidate started back in January 15 and will be closed March 15. This time around we have engaged independent judges, so as soon as the registration window closes, the judges will assume their work,” Tlhasana explained.
This year’s edition will be include 20 categories, which can be viewed on Botswana Youth Awards Facebook page. Tickets are currently selling for P150.
