That the quality of gospel music has improved significantly over the years is not in doubt.
Artists like Tshepo Lesole have raised the bar which can only be good for the industry.
Now the album ‘Magnify’ by David Grace is just one of those whose quality is visible even before one get to play it.
Recorded at Ruff Riddims Studios in Palapye, the 14- track album is a gospel scorcher.
Some of the songs include Amazing Grace, Who made the heavens, Modimo wa metlholo, Shepherd of my life and my favourite song ‘Magnify.’
Delivered with a measured voice this album is surely up there with the very best.
Grace goes mellow in a couple of songs providing just the needed atmosphere for worship.
He also experiments with Rhumba in some songs. It gets 9 out of 10.
