In a bid to give back to the community, Filex Masunga has organized a music workshop for artists to learn the techniques of professionalizing their musical careers and compete among the best in the industry.
In other countries, musicians do go to school and learn how to play music and turn it into a profession.
But locally, most of the artistes do not have a qualification in music.
Masunga told this publication that the workshop started on Tuesday at SupaNgwao Museum in Francistown.
According to Masunga, the workshop will end this Saturday.
It will end with a musical concert where artists will put into practice what they have been learning throughout the week.
Participants parted with P100. Masunga said the proceeds to be realized during the workshop and the concert will be donated to Lephoi Centre for the Visually Impaired and Save-our-Souls (SOS) village.
