Bakgatla Kgosikgolo Kgafela Kgafela II says he is confident that he will win his case against Kgosi Nyalala on Wednesday.
Kgafela wants Mmabatho High court to determine who between Nyalala and himself should make decisions on behalf of Bakgatla both in Moruleng and Mochudi.
If the court rules in his favour he says Nyalala and his team will be asked to resign.
Scores of Bakgatla both from South Africa and Botswana attended the court in large numbers.
In a brief speech he made after the case was set for next Wednesday for a ruling, he said, “my mission here in South Africa has been accomplished. My task was to see to it that Morafe is well and have their goods in their possession.”
He also said he is confident of a victory on Wednesday. “This is not the first time we bring the issue of separation of powers to court, both my dad and granddad did the same. At the end the court ruled in their favour,” he said to a cheering crowd of Bakgatla.
He did not mention if he will be returning to Botswana or not. Save to say Bakgatla should know he will always be available for them.
He was under heavy escort as he was driven in a BMW X5 followed by 2 Toyota Hilux with armed body guards.
