MC Maswe (Thapelo Maleka) has proved that he subscribes to the old adage that action speaks louder than a word.
Instead of responding to allegations that he has joined the ruling Botswana Democratic Change (BDP) by explaining, MC Maswe decided to do action wise.
According to sources so close to the Ramotswa-born singer, MC Maswe worked round the clock in order to be booked at the launch of the Botswana Congress Party (BCP) parliamentary candidate for Tati East, Maria Kusasa.
The former Botswana People’s Party (BPP) member will be launched on July 5 and MC Maswe will perform at the event to be held at the border village of Tsamaya.
Maswe said his performances at political rallies and launches are purely business and have nothing to do with political affiliation.
“I had to work hard to be booked. I am a businessman,” said MC Maswe.
