Generations star Anga Makubalo has revealed that he and his local girlfriend, Roselyn April have hugged and kissed.
And the celebrity couple is planning to host their first anniversary in a fortnight’s time.
Plans are underway for the celebrity couple to host its first anniversary at a secluded up market place in the Johannesburg, South Africa.
In his first public interview with the local press after he allegedly beat up his girlfriend at Mahalapye late last year, NaakMusiq as Makubalo is popularly known in the music industry admitted that he had a misunderstanding with April.
However, he was quick to point out that the misunderstanding was not all that bad.
He said the dispute was a normal one saying it is a natural occurrence between lovers.
“It is unfortunate that the incident that happened at Mahalapye was blown out of proportion,” said the actor.
He further said, “We try by all means necessary to shy away from the public eye. But for a fact, our love relationship is stronger than ever. This is despite what transpired at Mahalapye late last year,” said the television star.
Explaining for the first time what transpired on the fateful day, Makubalo said the misunderstanding emanated from the fact that some unknown ladies “budged into our hotel room.”
“This did not go well with April and went berserk chasing the intruders.
She misunderstood me and thought I directed my anger at her,” said Makubalo, adding that the issue is now water under the bridge.
Makubalo added that his relationship with April has reached another level.
He said the two lovers will celebrate their first anniversary this month. He met April at the Braai Place branch in Francistown.
Asked about the significance of the first anniversary, the Port Elizabeth-born actor said: “This is just a tip of an iceberg. More is coming.
But I cannot reveal much at the moment. Just know that we are in love.”
Efforts to get a comment from April drew a blank as her phone number rang unanswered.
She could not respond to messages send to her.
