- Couple’s helicopter ride on the cards
- 500 wedding guests expected
- Tight security booked at opulent Ruretse farm
- Wedding rights may be sold to SA glossy Mag
Botswana’s music superstar Odirile “Vee” Sento (31) has pulled all the stops to give his partner Kagiso De Klerk (27) a fairytale wedding.
Although he tried his best to keep the wedding plans a secret, The Voice can reveal that the pint size muso and his fiancé have plans to go big on their wedding ceremony to be held at the opulent Ruretse farm on May 17th.
The lavish event will be hosted at the groom’s parents’place, a double storey house at Ruretse with about 500 invited guests.
Reached for comment Sento burst into his famous hearty laughter and flatly refused to shed light on his big day.
“I can’t confirm the dates, but you will know soon,” he said.
However a source related to the star musician let it slip that the high riding entertainer is planning a Hollywood celebrity type of wedding which will have people talking for a long while.
According to the informed source Lobola will be paid to the De Klerk’s family at Ntsweng ward in Kanye on Thursday 15th May.
The Kwaito-kwasa artist will part with P24 000 (equivalent to eight beasts) to finally make De Klerk Mrs Sento.
“I heard his father has hired a chopper which will ferry the two love birds from church to the farm,” said our source.
The Voice also learnt that three security companies have been engaged to guard against unwanted guests and any form of unruly behavior.
“No one will be allowed to take pictures at the wedding,” he said.
It is not yet clear whether the couple could have sold their wedding pictures rights to one of the glossy magazines in South Africa but according to our source: “It is highly likely.”
Vee and De Klerk have been dating for some years now and they have a seven year old son Elisha. The couple remains one of the most glamorous and celebrated in the country.
