POLICE APPEAL TO THE PUBLIC TO HELP FIND MISSING WOMAN
A 61-year-old Senyawe woman allegedly vanished while visiting her daughter in Tutume three weeks ago.
Senzeni Martha Johnson disappeared into thin air after she was left home alone at Madikwe ward in Tutume last month.
The daughter allegedly left her mum at home when she went to work in the morning. On her return she was shocked to find her mother missing.
Although she asked around and even reported the matter to the police the mother is still nowhere to be found.
Tutume police confirmed the incident and said their search for Johnson has drawn a blank.
“We have searched for the missing woman almost everywhere in the village but she is nowhere to be found,” Superintendent Jerry Halahala said.
The officer revealed that although someone claimed to have since seen a person matching her description near Sebina Junction, Senzeni has not returned home for the past three weeks.
He called upon members of the public to help trace the woman who is believed to be of sane mind and sober habits.
Halahala said anyone who sees the woman should contact Tutume police or the nearest police station. He said it was still not clear as to what could have happened to Senzeni.
