If no proper laid down policy is put in place to protect those that should have access to the property people will just continue to help themselves if they cannot agree amongst themselves.

The Court Order should state that all the items should be brought back to the house and give those who have taken a deadline to return the goods.

Absolutely no respect whatsoever in one paragraph someone took the computer where one of the grandchildren is at University and one of the children is not well not a good gesture for the season of goodwill to the family. just sheer greed.

The person who has passed on must be turning in their grave (as the saying goes) as some people grab and squabble over possessions

The former journalist must live comfortably and is just a friend and they are seen to be grabbing SHAMEFUL

Wena cheerful why do you listen to the voice nonsense. The voice should teach Daniel Chida to investigate his stories instead of reporting nonsense and misleading the reader. Who doesn’t know in Maun that there isn’t any hint of truth in that story. The Mpho wrangle was listened to and adjudicated by the Boyei and Goo-Tawana kgotlas respectively and tell you what, it is those children who have been kicked out of the Mpho estate by a court order because as daughters of none adopted step children they have no right to make claims as rightful heirs to the property of Motsamai Mpho. On the other hand, how can Chida give the reader a factual story when he doesn’t even know that the Mpho estate is in Boyei not Sanyedi ward, as he purported.

Shame on you Cheerful who doesn’t know the golden heart of that journalist. Let Chida and his sick informants stop tainting her name but make a follow up and write about the charity activities that she is carrying out in Maun. Do you know that even at Motsamai Mpho’s funeral it was announced that she took care of the old man single handed until his last breath. I don’t mean just ordinary care but bathing, feeding etc. Do you think that this is the type that can still such things. Go to the Mpho family and find out how they adore that women. They even treat her as their own daughter

Those children did not tell the truth to Chida. Neither is their father sick nor the Mpho family wanting any share of the sage’s property except to hand it over to the rightful heirs, which are Mpho’s biological daughter Boitumelo who is in England and six biological grandchildren. Shirley and her sister never stayed with the old man during his life, why stay now and guard his property when he is no more. We heard at the Kgotla that Mpho married a woman who had five children of her own. Before Mpho sealed the marriage vows he told his in-laws that he was not adopting the children but would raise, educate and return them to their mother’s family. Evidence indicated that when the five were grown up, the Mpho family returned them back to their mother’s family in Palapye were without Mpho’s consent they registered for Omang using his surname. In Setswana culture, such children have no right to claim boswa ja ga Motsamai Mpho. For more infor read the biography of Motsamai Mpho by Dr Wayne Edge and see what Mpho in his own words says about his children.

    Why say shame on you?
I am not ashamed of my opinions based on the article which i have read and understood you are entitled to your opinions too
ARE YOU THE SPOKESPERSON FOR THE JOURNALIST IN QUESTION ???!! WHY DID THE JOURNALIST NOT SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES.

Do you know who i am for you to speak to me the way you have spoken to me in some quarters it would be regarded as RUDE!

Why on earth are you picking on Daniel who was told the story by the TWO THAT WALKED INTO THE VOICE OFFICE- you should have POLITELY say that Daniel was MISINFORMED AND NOT TRY TO BE HOSTILE TO EVERYONE.

CHARLOTTE AND CLAIRE WALKED INTO THE VOICE OFFICES – THE VOICE DID NOT GO TO THEM
and do not TELL ME NOT TO LISTEN TO THE VOICE’S NONSENSE I CAN MAKE THAT DECISION NOT YOU!!! i AM SURE IF YOU TELL YOUR SIDE OF THE STORY TO DANIEL HE WILL LISTEN TO YOU
