Musician, Tebogo Motsie of the Machonisa fame popularly known as Euri tied the knot to his childhood sweetheart, Bonolo Mmopiemang in an intimate ceremony held at Camel’s Lodge in Mmopane last week.
Clad in a white mermaid-style wedding gown, the dazzling Mmopiemang, 27, was a sight to behold. The fitted strapless dress with a plunging neckline showcased the beauty of the Kanye-born blushing bride.
The stunning gown featured intricate beading from the neck all the way to below the knees where the ruffles took over down to the bride’s covered feet. On the head she donned a white shroud neatly tucked into her thinly twisted hair.
With no jewelery on her neck one’s attention was drawn to the bright shining earrings.
Tears of joy started flowing down the groom’s face as his beautiful bride emerged from the left to meet him.
Slowly, Euri walked in the direction in which the mother of his two children was and the two finally met in the middle of the well decorated isle. She too was overcome by emotions.
Both faces covered in tears, the two hugged like they were meeting for the first time before kissing, much to the admiration of the guests.
Ululations erupted from all corners of the hall while some stood up and started dancing to traditional music.
“I felt like my dreams have come true,” said the talented and velvet voiced singer from Lerala village in the Tswapong area in a post reception interview with The Voice.
It was a long journey to making a tangible commitment to his lover and friend.
Euri and Mmopiemang met 12 years ago when they were both students at John Mackenzie School in Francistown.
At the wedding reception the groom and serenaded his new wife with a track called Mosadi from his latest offering to be released sometime next week.
