SCORNED GIRLFRIEND SPLASHES CHEATING HUSBAND WITH BOILING COOKING OIL
A man who had to chose a bride from two long time lovers is spending his honeymoon in hospital after the girl he rejected splashed him with boiling cooking oil a few days after his marriage.
Cheating husband Joseph Phasudi (47) landed in Scottish Hospital in Molepolole with severe burns when Kelebogile Modisanyane, 30, scalded her lover for choosing the other woman over her.
The newly wed suffered his fate after he had sneaked out of his marital home to visit Modisanyane on the third day of his married life.
Speaking from hospital the injured man said that his lover acted out of jealousy after his decision not to marry her.
He had dated Modisanyne for eight uninterrupted years but said the relationship was never serious and the woman knew that.
“I have known this lady since 2006. She is aware that I wasn’t going to marry her as I was already dating my future wife when I met her.
She knew that our relationship was not a serious one.
I am surprised that she became jealous of my marriage. On the other hand I have been with Kabo, the woman I chose to marry for over 15 years and had always respected her as the mother of my children.
I had always made it clear to Kelebogile that one day when I was ready to settle down, Kabo was going to be the one I was going to marry,” he explained.
The two timing Phasudi explained that to lure him to her house, Modisanyane phoned asking him to drive her to church.
Like a true ‘playa’ he came up with a false story to fool his wife who was in the middle of making tea for him.
“I lied to my wife that I had business to take care of.
I didn’t even drink the tea. Upon arrival at Kelebogile’s house she undressed and seduced me.
She teased me that I no longer gave her the attention that she deserved. I was excited to see her and ready to have sex with her so I let my guard down,” he said.
Phasudi said that he however got suspicious that something might be wrong when Modisanyane kept on dashing to the kitchen, but in the end he convinced himself that his girlfriend must have missed him so much that she prepared some delicacies for him.
“I was shocked when she emerged from the kitchen with a pot full of boiling cooking oil and aimed it at my private parts.
I managed to sway away from her but it was too late as she splashed the contents on my body.
She wanted to fry my private parts. I passed out,” he narrated.
Hearing his screams neighbors called the police and they took him to hospital.
Denying that he ever led Modisanyane to believe that he could ever be married to her he added: “I never promised to marry her.
But on the other hand our relationship was not a secret as we have a two -year- old child.
My family knows about her. Now I will let the law take its course,” he said.
Phasudi’s wife, Kabo, 40 said the whole incident has disturbed her.
She said she will approach the customary court to lay a charge of marriage wrecking against Modisenyane.
“All I want is for that lady to pay eight cows for wrecking my marriage.
I didn’t know that my husband was involved with her but there were rumours flying around the village which my husband always denied,” said the aggrieved wife.
When The Voice team visited Modisanyane’s house in Matlhalerwa ward she fled.
Molepolole police station commander, Assistant superintendent Gontse Segale confirmed the matter and said it was to be heard before the magistrate’s court once the victim was released from the hospital.
