BotswanaPost has increased postal tariffs.
The tariff increased on postal, money exchange and delivery services.
The letter mail, private bag and Express Mail Services (EMS) have also been increase by 10 percent.
BotswanaPost said tariff increase was meant to mitigate the operating costs that continue to rise and to meet the regional and international operating standards.
ANGLO AMERICAN APPOINT NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Anglo American has announced the appointment to its Board of Dr Judy Dlamini as a non-executive director, with effect 1 January 2014.
Dr Judy Dlamini is an entrepreneur in the healthcare and global pharmaceutical industries and has gained valuable board experience in the mining, retail and healthcare sectors, including as a non-executive director of Northam Platinum since 2004.

CHOBE HOLDINGS ACQUIRE MOREMI SAFARIS
Chobe Holdings has announced that it has acquired Moremi Safaris.
The company said it was pleased to reach an agreement with Messrs WFA Burre and VN Brown to acquire – through its wholly-owned subsidiary Desert & Delta Safaris (Pty) Ltd (DDS) – the entire shareholding in Moremi Safaris (Pty) Ltd with effect from 1 August 2013.
The necessary regulatory approvals, including approval of the transaction by the Competition Authority and Tawana Land Board, have also been obtained.
LUCARA MAKES $24.7 MILLION FROM EXCEPTIONAL DIAMOND SALE
Lucara Diamond has announced the results from its second Exceptional Stone Tender.
The special tender of Karowe diamonds was completed on September 2, 2013 and consisted of 16 single stone lots.
All 16 stones, totaling 1,028 carats were sold for gross revenues of $24.7 million ($24,026 per carat), an outstanding result.
The highest value stone was a 135.4 carat diamond which sold for $6.37 million with an additional 3 diamonds selling for more than $2.5 million each.
