WOMAN ACCUSED OF CAUSING DEATH OF TWO CHILDREN IN A FIRE DIES BY FIRE
A Francistown woman who allegedly caused the death of her boyfriend’s two children by fire has also perished in a fire accident.
Kgalalelo Gloria Sambo, 45, died at Nyangabgwe Referral hospital after a lunatic pushed her into the fire at a drinking spree in Monarch location of Francistown.
She was buried in Francistown two weeks ago amid gossips that karma had come back to bite her.
Two years ago, Sambo was accused of causing the death of her boyfriend’s two small children (boy aged 5 and a girl aged 9) by locking them in the house which later caught fire while she was out boozing.
The children who sustained first degree burns were rushed by neighbours to Nyangabgwe hospital where they died.
“This is a clear case of Karma because even the burns she sustained were so minor that they shouldn’t have killed her,” a neighbour said after the funeral.
Sambo died from minor burns while waiting to answer to charges of causing the death of the two minors.
Central police station commander Mojaboswa Mathitha said Sambo’s fire accident has not been reported to the police. “We did not receive any complaint regarding the alleged fire accident,” Mathitha said.
The senior police officer has encouraged members of the public to report cases to the police for further investigations.
