Botswana Insurance Company (BIC) made an interim payment of P160, 000 to Khama Rhino Sanctuary Trust on Friday morning.
Shatani Nyatanga, the Media Liaison Officer for Botswana Insurance Company Limited BIC said the payment was part of the larger payment to be made to the Sanctuary to get back the restaurant on its feet after it was destroyed by fires.
BIC has revealed that a temporary facility is being erected to allow local and foreign visitors to the Khama Rhino Sanctuary to enjoy their visits.
The Chief Warden of Khama Rhino Sanctuary Moremi Tjibae thanked BIC for rushing to the site after the fire to assess the damages and help mitigate the effects of the unexpected loss to the trust.
Meanwhile, Nyatanga said BIC which is the only AA- rated insurance company in Botswana, has been in existence since 1975 and is committed to providing exceptional quality products and services to its clientele.
