It was a night of creativity grandeur, as all the communications agencies converged at the UB Faculty of Business to celebrate the industry’s best.
The awards organised by the Association of Communication Agencies (ACA) in conjunction with Ideas Expo Botswana and themed They Must Know, started with a street campaign earlier in the month, culminating in a night of glitz and glamour in celebration of creative excellence.
Not to be outdone was one of the new entrants in the market, Integrate Public Relations.
The 2 year old communications consultancy walked away with a Bronze Award in the Integrated Campaign Category, a feat they say has inspired them to do more.
“The competition was very tough, and only the best agencies walked away with awards.
We are a small and relatively new PR Firm and are very excited and motivated by this award, which shows recognition for the work we have done thus far.
This accolade will fuel and inspire us to work even harder going forward,” said Integrate PR General Manager, Ndaba Nkomo.
Integrate PR won the award for their integrated iTowers Tower 2 launch campaign which used trades such as advertising, PR and social media, to achieve awareness for their client.
iTowers is a premium mixed-use property development in the CBD, for which Integrate PR designed and executed a publicity campaign.
Giving the award, the Chief Adjudicator Festus Masekwameng indicated that work in the category was of stellar quality, and applauded the winners for their efforts.
“We are very happy that our partners at Integrate PR won the award, and we congratulate them in earnest on a job well done. Of course we are even happier that our work was their award-winning work, and we look forward to more award-winning work from the team,” said iTowers project manager, Justin Jose.
