Sordid details of affair tumble out of the closet as wife sues for adultery
A distraught married woman in Selibi- Phikwe is suing her cheating husband and his mistress for marriage wrecking.
Kea Kgafela, 31, is demanding that her husband, Tumelo Pablo Kgafela, 36, pay her P500, 000 for cheating on her. His mistress must compensate her P200, 000, Kea has demanded in court.
The mistress, Keneilwe Ntopo is a teacher at Popagano Secondary School in Sepopa Village, while the cheating husband is an engineer at the BCL mine.
Details of how the adulterous couple repeatedly had sex in the bush first surfaced at Botshabelo Customary Court where Kea had initially lodged the case. She has since moved it to the High Court.
Kgafela confessed to adultery and explained in court papers how he cheated on his wife by frequently having sex in the bush with the school teacher.
In his confession statement the busted husband said that he started cheating in 2011 when he met the teacher at the Bosele Marathon. “I met her at the event and when my wife went to sleep I pulled her closer to me and kissed her. She did not resist. Instead she held onto me and we kissed. This was happening behind the cars in the parking lot,” he said.
Kgafela further revealed that they went to Ntopo’s cousin’s house where they repeatedly had sex. “I told her I had no condom and she produced one from what looked like a drawer and we had sex.”
He met Ntopo again the following week for another round of sex, he said.
“We agreed that driving out of town would be ideal so we drove to the bushes on the eastern part of Phikwe, parked in the area and had sex in my Toyota Hilux,” he revealed.
After discovering that their bush sex plan worked out well, they made that area their regular rendezvous. “We drove into that area several times and this is where we had sex. I lied to my wife that I was working late just to create time to have sex in the bush.”
He said after several times of sex in the bush they then decided to change the area as they felt it was unsafe. At times, he said, they would use his matrimonial house when his wife was away on official trips. At other times they would book accommodation in various lodges to have sex. Later the same year Kgafela got fed up of the relationship and told Ntopo to stay away from his family but she kept on demanding sex from him.
Kgafela’s wife discovered the relationship from a phone bill which indicated that Ntopo was her husband’s frequent caller.
The case continues in court.
