I’M ADDICTED TO MASTURBATION
I am totally addicted to masturbation. Please help me; I want to stop it before it gets worse. Are there any side effects of Masturbation? Thank you.
Addiction of any kind is always a concern; it’s a good thing that you’ve decided to seek help to nip this problem in the bud before it spirals out of control.

Men’s Clinic (3909402) is certainly a good place as well, for you to seek help from. To answer your question, this is what I found out when I Googled “Side Effects of Masturbation.”
EFFECTS OF OVER-MASTURBATION:
Frequent masturbation and ejaculation stimulate acetylcholine/parasympathetic nervous functions.
Excessive stimulation can result in over production of sex hormones and neurotransmitters such as acetylcholine, dopamine and serotonin.
Abundant and unusually large amount of these hormones and neurotransmitters can cause the brain and adrenal glands to perform excessive dopamine-norepinephrine-epinephrine conversion and turn the brain and body functions to be extremely sympathetic.
In other words, there is a big change of body chemistry when one excessively masturbates.
Note: Masturbation is a healthy sexual behaviour. Like other behaviours, when over practiced or addicted it can lead to both psychological and physiological imbalances.
Side-effects of Masturbation
Other than an immediate need for a towel or tissue, the effects of masturbation upon the male body were:
Feeling tired all the time
Lower back pain
Thinning hair / Hair Loss
Soft / Weak Erections
Eye floaters or fuzzy vision
Groin / Testicular Pain
Pain or cramp in the pelvic cavity or/and tail bone
When to say when
How much is too much masturbation (and sex for that matter)?
That depends but its suggested men keep their ejaculation frequency down to 2-3 times a week.
However, sexual activity can be experienced more often if men learn how to orgasm without ejaculation.
Doing so can actually store bioenergy into your system and make your penis firmer, your erections last longer and your ejaculate volume bigger.
Over masturbation participants experience problems with concentration and memory.
This is a dangerous side effect of over masturbation and signals that the brain is being over drained of acetycholine.
Over masturbation drains motor neurons and neuro-muscular endings of acetycholine, which is eventually replaced.
Over masturbation can lead to absentmindedness, memory loss, lack of concentration, and eye floaters.
To fight these symptoms, the chemical levels in your body needs to be balanced.
The following is what Dr. Vipul Sharma says about over masturbation:
Masturbation is a healthy sexual behaviour. Like other behaviours, when over practiced or addicted it can lead to both psychological and physiological imbalances.
The biggest effect of over masturbation is mental rather than physical, person in the habit of it gradually shifts away from normal intercourse and finds masturbation more satisfying and pleasurable.
People in the habit of it always seek few moments alone to masturbate; even the slightest arousal can make them aroused and they may feel the urge to discharge.
This situation can promote problems like low libido, ED and lack of orgasm.
Other than these problems people in the habit of over masturbation may face problems like prostatitis, weak parasympathetic nerve, distressed liver, semen leakage, premature ejaculation, sexual exhaustion, impotence and low sperm count .-Dr. Vipul Sharma .
I HAVE NO LOVE LIFE
Hi! How are you? As for me, I’m okay and doing fairly good after the advice you gave me.
Well, now here is the issue; I can meet woman and have feelings for them but I just can’t have that connection of love.
This is worrying me so much that I don’t know when the right time to start another relationship is.
Well, generally I’m okay; I can do my things according to plan and they come to pass.
The only thing that I am short of is the love life. I have put my faith in God that the best is yet to come in my life. Enjoy yourself and keep up the good work.
It’s wise of you to put your faith in God and trust that the best is yet to come.
You can’t force love…if the feeling is not there, then it’s not there, you need to accept that.
Obviously, a woman cannot be the right one for you if you feel no love for her! Also, it just wouldn’t be fair on the lady, to be with her just because you have no love life and want to fill a gap.
There’s nothing wrong with being alone until you find the one you truly love, no matter how long it takes.
You say you don’t know when is the right time to start another relationship; my answer is, the right time is when you truly feel the “connection of love” which you mentioned in your email but which appears to be eluding you currently.
Therefore, there’s no need to stress over the fact that you have no love life…it will happen when the right time comes; before then, live the best life that you possibly can, and be content. Remember that having a “love life” is no guarantee that you will be happy.
