All roads lead to Lobatse Town Park this weekend for the inaugural Lobatse Beef festival.
Meat lovers will be in for a treat as the Lobatse Town council launches the international festival to promote and celebrate Botswana beef and its contribution to the country’s economy.
Organisers also say the festival is meant to promote and position Lobatse as a vibrant town with the necessary amenities necessary for business and economic growth.
The festival is also expected to showcase Lobatse as a major international player in the beef industry.
About 600kg of meat will be offered to the public for free while some will be sold.
A corporate package of P1500 is worth 10 tickets, 5kg of beef and a private braai area.
Camping areas that were available at P300 have been sold out.
Stanbic Bank will be sponsoring wines while the food court will be sponsored by FNBB.
Gabz fm and KBL will be radio and beverage partners respectively Kicking off at 18 hours, will feature performances by Women of Jazz, Lister Boleseng, Casper , Mapetla, Seragantshwane, Tripple R, DJ Boogie Sid, DJ Chrispin and DJ Sid.
