The talented artist of “Selemela” fame apparently found the going tough in Mzansi and decided to retrace his steps back to the city that made him.
When he left the country Tagg was at the centre of a controversy surrounding the sudden disappearance of music equipment.
Although Tagg is said to have produced a couple of songs for some local artists whilst in SA, Shaya has been informed that his career did not take off as expected.
When he left there were rumours of a wedding to his long time sweetheart Tuli;but that was before Tagg got himself a tattoo.
IS THE MARRIAGE STILL ON?
In another sad turn of events the much publicized wedding of a sassy local artist to one beefy guy in South Africa is rumoured to be just that, rumours.
Apparently the guy who was reported to be working for a very wealthy man lost his job and has gone back to his home village, a small shanty town in South Africa.
Apparently the much celebrated artist also broke the man’s heart after he learnt that his fiancé was expecting another’s man or should we say boy’s child.
The bulky man could not take the double blow and decided to coil back into his old shack. Heartbreaking in deed!
Botswana Musicians Union is in danger of collapse, that is if news reaching Shaya are anything to go by.
Apparently there is a faction that wants the current executive led by Alfred Mosimanegape to vacate the office and are determined to do whatever it takes to see that happen.
The faction apparently claim the current Committee should have been voted out a long time ago.
They argue that the committee has not made it possible for elections to be held as per the constitution in a way to prolong their stay in office.
BOMU facilitator Kagiso Ntime apparently warned the executive against the faction at a “Sponsors Appreciation Night” last Friday.
Ntime is said to have warned the union against people who only want to run things when there are early sings that big money is coming? Sounds like someone knows a little bit more.
Which money are you talking about Sir with an Afro?
Too Short was arrested Wednesday for DUI.
He made a failed attempt to escape and was taken to jail, where cops say they found drugs in the back of the black and white car he was driving. He was booked for felony drug possession.
The L.A. County District Attorney has rejected the felony drug case, because cops only found a very small amount of drugs which they say is meth. Given that Short does not have a felony record, the D.A.
decided not to prosecute and sent the case over to the L.A.
City Attorney for misdemeanor review. Short insists he was not in possession of drugs, and whatever was found in the back of the cop car was left by the prior arrestee who involuntarily hitched a ride to the pokey.
LADY MGAGA’S ACQUIRED ACCENT
Coming back from a short holiday I decided to tune into my favourite radio station, Yarona FM when I landed sometime this week only to be greeted by Boineelo Mogaga’s voice.
Last time shaya checked she was said to have left the youthful radio station and gotten married to a white man.
I was however excited that she is back but what caught Shaya’s attention was that she no longer reads news like she used to.
She now sounds like a white woman . Don’t worry Lady Mgaga Shaya understands why you sound like white people.
You probably spend most of your time speaking English at home with your hubby.
Vee wa-Mampela will be my witness on this one, he’s a professed Christian.
On the other hand President Ian Khama has made it clear that he doesn’t want to be worshipped.
Vee however braved the heavy rains in Ditshegwane over the weekend and danced for the president.
Shaya hopes the Christian pint sized musician was doing that for the love of his job not to impress or worship anyone and I hope the money he got after that crazy rain performance will be enough to buy flu medication.
