Jazz lovers are in for a 12 hour musical treat courtesy of Be Mobile and the Majestic Five Hotel in Palapye.

The showpiece dubbed “Be Mobile Ke Ya Rona Festival 2013” scheduled for March 30 will feature the world renowned South African jazz musician Jonas Gwangwa, our own Shanti Lo and Ndingo Johwa, Dj Douglas Mosadi of the Motsweding FM fame, local DJs SK, Sid, Tshipydy, Sala and Peter T.

Part of the proceeds from the show, which Bemobile officials hope to make an annual event will go to Charity.

For their part Ndingo Johwa and Shanti Lo who were at the press conference to launch the show thanked Be Mobile for supporting the local performing arts.

“We are grateful and promise to deliver”’, said Johwa expressing delight that the corporate world has woken up to the fact that there are other areas in the country that need support besides football.

Incidentally Be Mobile is the sponsor of the local premier football league.

PERFORMER: Ndingo Johwa

Shanti Lo who has worked with Johwa on his first album as a backing vocalist praised  Be Mobile, music promoters Street Horn and Urban Motion for putting on the easter jazz bash.

“ It’s a privilege for me to play in such a show. I must thank Be Mobile for the sponsorship and also say thanks to street horn for doing it again”

Tickets for the show sell for P300.
