THE LEAGUE IS BACK
Well not this weekend but according to my reliable sources the league is well on schedule.
It will continue on the weekend of the 27th/28th with the same scheduled fixtures. Game of the weekend will see the clash of the top table with Mochudi Centre Chiefs taking on Gaborone United on the 27th.
The last time we met was in the Coca Cola final and you guys beat us on the penalties.
There are no penalties this time around.

UNDER 17
Once again the young boys continue to make the nation proud.
They just defeated their age mates from Rwanda 1-0 last week Friday at the Molepolole Sports Complex.
They left the country for their return leg in the capital city of Kigali and stand a real good chance of making it to Youth Championships in Algeria.
Well done boys and good luck.

KAKA IS BACK
Ricardo Izecson Dos Santos Leite better known as Kaka is back in the Brazilian squad with a bang.
He just celebrated his comeback in to the team in nearly two years with 2 goals in 2 games against Iran and Japan respectively, bagging 1 in each game.
He was on target in Brazil’s 6-0l demolition of Iran and 4-0  massacre of Japan on Tuesday in Poland. He surely is set to make the 2014 final squad for the Samba Boysl.

Tummie & Mogogi

AND THE MADAM TALKS
On last week’s column I wrote about Mogogi Gabonamong’s dress sense and his passion for farming and guess what; I got the thumbs up from his wife Tumie Gabonamong.
I bumped on the two of them at Airport Junction mall the day after the Zebras game. She was saying how relieved she was that I wrote about his husband’s “bad” dress sense.
I am a good man.

Tshosane

BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD
I can’t say much about the game against Mali last weekend.
All I can say is let’s go back to the drawing board and see where we went wrong and try and fix it.
Whether the problem is on the pitch or in the office or where ever, it needs to be sorted out now. We still have the 2014 World Cup qualifiers to look forward to.
I must say that I think Galagwe Tsotso and Mirror and the ever reliable Ndiyapo “Bingu”Letsholathebe had a descent game.
We can only build up from there. Zebras for life.

Zebras' Fans

THE 12th PLAYER
I want to express my sincere gratitude in the way you guys love and support your team the Zebras.
It is so humbling and mind blowing to see you guys in national colors and your large numbers on the day of the match.
It is such a lovely scene to see you strolling on the streets with your imaginative regalia; honestly nothing compares to you guys. Di bosso ke lona.

SENEGAL BANNED

Senegalpiro's corner

Senegal has been disqualified from the 2013 AFCON after fan trouble led to abandonment of their final qualifying game against Ivory Coast in Dakar on Saturday 13th.
It is a pity that such ugly scenes sometimes happen in football, but what the Senegalese fans did was totally uncalled for. Imagine even their Sports Minister was injured.
CAF announced the suspension of Senegal on Tuesday and it was the right thing to do.
I hope that such a thing will never happen here, supporters need to understand that every little decision you make could have a bearing on the team.
Some countries believe they have the right to be at every AFCON and can’t accept defeat; that sucks.
