Swindles church member of P80 000
Healing Waters International Ministries Pastor in Francistown recently spent a night behind bars while being questioned for obtaining P80 000 from his church member on the understanding that he would buy her a car.
Instead of delivering the said car Samson Boitshoko Katai, 30 from Kang bought himself a plush Mercedes Benz, while his congregate who is a teacher at Mmei Comunnity Junior Secondary School in Monarch was kept in limbo over her dream car.
Police confirmed detaining the suspect for questioning and that they were still investigating a case of theft by agent against the suspect.
However a reliable source who preferred anonymity said, “ as of Wednesday last week the car had not been delivered. The lady teacher is the one who reported the matter to the police. Since May this year she has been waiting for the car as per agreement.”
A visit by this publication to the church that rents one of the halls at the BOCCIM grounds,drew mixed reactions , with one woman claiming to be Pastor Katai only to later backtrack being the ‘man of the cloth’. ”

As we speak the Pastor is in the United States, he flew out last week on Thursday and will be back in the country on the 22nd of next month’, said the slender tall lady who now refused to divulge her name.

Meanwhile some church members said all they have been told by the church elders is that the Pastor is away and they should pray for him wherever he is.
