Fantastic service wins Francistown Super Spar cashier P5000
A 28-year-old Nzano Spar cashier came out tops in the preliminary round of an ongoing SMS vote to find the company’s champion cashier.
Delighted Lesedi Mbisana won herself P5000 and the admiration of customers and staff when she beat rivals from 850 Spar stores in South Africa and 27 others in Botswana to become one of 16 winners in the initial stage of the competition.
Explaining the concept Spar Regional Operations Manager Barry Miller said: “We are committed to uplifting customer service and this is one way that we can give something back to our staff and the community. Customers rate their cashier’s service by providing feedback via SMS through our Grand Till Thrill campaign.”
Complementing the Nzano Spar staff in general he praised the popular branch for the exceptional service they consistently offered.
For her part Lesedi, who has been with the company for 7 years, said that she had been working hard to achieve her award. “Customers voted for me because I carefully explained the procedure and made sure they knew my name, and of course because I am helpful, friendly and efficient,” she said with the smile that helped in making her the number one choice for 560 satisfied customers.
The promotion continues until the end of October when the cashier with the most positive comments over the three months will be rewarded with the P20 000 grand prize.
To encourage shoppers to join in the competition, Spar are giving away twenty P250 shopping vouchers each month to selected voters.
As they say in the trade – “See in store for details.”
