Students to battle for Voice National Debate trophy

Tertiary and secondary school students will be sharpening their powers of persuasion next week at the Colleges of Education National Debate Championship to be held in Serowe.

Under the theme ‘The Government Youth Programmes Are Proving to be a Challenge,’ secondary schools will curtain raise for the tertiary students in The Voice sponsored Championship.

The debaters and public speakers will tackle a variety of topics from 12-16 September at the Serowe College of Education. The final will be held on Saturday 15 September in what is expected to be a lively and controversial debate.

Members of the public are welcome to attend the popular event now in its 15th year.
