OFF TO BLOOM
Finally I have put pen to paper; it is a three year deal and I can’t express how happy I am for this big break, it only comes once in a life time.
The new employers didn’t say much, they just talked and launched new players. I know the expectation is for me to deliver, so I had a chat with Phenyo Mongala before I left. The club is highly ambitious and I believe I will have a good time there.
PLAYED TWO GAMES
I have played against Golden Arrows and Moroka Swallows and I believe I did very well.
Obviously I can’t judge myself but from the look on the players faces they seemed impressed and of course the coach. I also met a couple of guys from Orlando Pirates who I got to know
during my short stint there and they were very happy to see me. I’m excited and ready to go.
I know any decent coach would be happy with a player who puts in maximum effort and that’s what I have in abundance.
I guess I will not be playing this coming weekend.
It would have been very nice to once again face my former employees Township Rollers in yet another high profile game. I expect my International Transfer Certificate to be in South Africa now, which means I can’t play here. I will be joining my new team for pre-season in Pretoria and will obviously visit Dipsy Selolwane to official inform him that I’m around the country.
I wish to take this opportunity to thank all the people at Centre Chiefs from the Chairman to the ball boy at the training ground.
It has been a happy family indeed. I enjoyed being around them because they believed in me. I also want to thank the Voice Newspaper for having so much trust in me. I would have continued the column should I have stayed.
Wish you could find a workaholic to do just as I have been doing.
I know by now Coach Madinda Ndlovu is trying new combinations and I feel sorry for him.
My partnership with Mara Moloi was amazing and has caused a lot of problems for so many teams, but I know he will get it right once again. The man has been like a father to me, he has always been behind and I can only wish him all the best.
