Francistown Rotary club will be having its second night market day this Saturday at Cresta Marang.
The annual family fun day is geared at raise funds to help roof a day care centre in Shashe Semotswane, which was built 16 years ago, but was abandoned at roofing level. As a result the children in the village do not attend any early learning, until they are enrolled in primary school.
After completing the structure, the Rotarians will hand over the project to the Shashe Semotswane village development committee and the council officials.
According to a press release from the club, the Rotary club will continue to support the crèche with books, posters and other learning materials.
Besides raising money for this worth cause the charitable organization also wants to offer safe entertainment for all age groups. It is hoped the event will also added to the cultural growth of the city, and provide small businesses especially those in crafting and manufacturing with much needed exposure.
